& Conditions for Reservations of RTDC Hotels & Services |
The
facility to make a reservation for any of the services provided
by the www.THEHERITAGEOFINDIA.com website, is not completely
free. The RTDC Hotel reservation is made against the following
charges: -
1. Service charges : Rs. 50.00.
2. Service Tax of 5% on Hotel Reservation & Tour Package
on total bill. |

1. Motel Deogarh, Dholpur and Shahpura: Air Cool Double Room:
Rs. 400.
2. Motel Ratangarh and Dausa: Air Cool Double Room : Rs. 350.
3. Sarovar, Pushkar & Motel Behror: Ordinary Double Room
(Common bath): Rs. 250.
4. Single Occupancy: Rs. 100 less.
5. Extra Bed: Rs. 100 extra.
6. Day use facility: Limited to maximum 8 hours between 6
AM to 6 PM with 50% charge, subject to availability of rooms
in view of prior reservation / walk-in tourist. |

Amendment
in Reservation of Accommodation
(i) If amendment in date or room or RTDC hotel's dates is
made no cancellation charges as per rules will be levied,
subject to availability of rooms.
(ii) If strength of guests / rooms is reduced, the cancellation
charges, on the reduced strength will be levied as per cancellation
rules.
Complimentary Tour Leader Facility: On 15 paying persons -
one single occupancy room; 16-30 persons - one double room;
31-45 persons - one double room + one single room and 46 to
60 persons - 2 double rooms as per plan.
Check-in / Out
Early Check-in: Allowed as per air / train / bus timings,
subject to availability of room. No additional charges will
be levied till 12 Noon, if check-in made between 6 a.m. to
12 Noon.
Late Check-out: Allowed up-to two hours after 12 Noon, keeping
in view the already advance bookings and arrival time. |

| Payment
Policy |
We advise all our browser customers to go through the Payment
Policy in detail before submitting any purchase at our site.
Hotel Reservation
By default, all Hotel Reservations require a payment equivalent
to one night’s room rent to be remitted to www.THEHERITAGEOFINDIA.com
in advance. However, there are some hotels that require payment
towards room charges for your entire stay period, in advance.
There are some hotels that require advance for the entire
period of stay, but only for specific periods during the year,
which are usually their "high season". The advance
requirement by each hotel are clearly defined on the Room
Listing Page for each of the room types being offered; and
the Payment Information Page, where the actual amount to be
remitted is detailed.
In most cases advance, whether for one night or for the entire
stay period, is collected only towards room charges. The customer
is expected to then settle all balance charges including taxes
or services charges if any levied, at the time of departure.
However, some hotels have room tariff inclusive of one or
more meals or have packages inclusive of meals, transfers,
sightseeing and other such components, besides room rent –
which they may like to collect in advance. The Rate Listings
clearly indicate what facilities/services are included in
that rate, with the understanding that the customer will settle
the balance amount payable directly on departure.
Car Reservation
Car Transfers (surface transfers) have to be fully paid for,
in advance. The amount payable is equivalent to the basic
charge for the Service Type selected by you e.g. Airport Transfer
or Full Day Car Hire etc. Any Extra Kilometer or Extra Hour
Charges or any charge accruing from use of the facility beyond
the basic inclusions, will require to be paid directly by
the customer. Such payments must be made directly to the driver
or as instructed at the Voucher, before disengaging the vehicle.
Packages
All Featured Packages, conducted by specialist Tour Operators,
will require to be fully paid for in advance. The Package
Listing page clearly indicates the details of the Tour being
offered, what facilities and services are included in the
tour price, cancellation and refund policies and all other
relevant details.
Methods
To make it simpler for our customers, we have provided several
payment options to choose from.
Credit Card – are not accepted at the moment; Cusomer
may pay by cheque or cash deposited into the nearest branch
of the HDFC Bank Ltd., crediting account as advised; Wire Transfer
the money from anywhere in the world to our HDFC Bank Ltd. account,
using the Bank’s Swift Code to facilitate quick transfer,
or pay by Demand Draft and courier the same to our address to
reach before the travel date. However, bookings for which there
is less than two day’s lead-time, between the date of
booking and date of travel, the only payment option available
is by Credit Card. Details with regard the various payment options,
Bank Accounts etc are available on the Payment Information Page
at the site.
Tariff
Most Indian Hotels have published their Room Tariff in Indian
Rupees. Some hotels have published their Tariff only in US
Dollars. Some hotels have published their tariff separately
in US Dollars and Indian Rupees. The Indian Rupee Tariff is
applicable only for Indian nationals. The US Dollar tariff
is applicable for all foreigners and Non Resident Indians
– NRI’s. Foreigners residing in India with valid
work permits are allowed to settle their bills in Indian currency
but will pay the equivalent of the US Dollar room tariff.
Indians selecting hotels with only published US Dollar tariff
will require to pay the rate in Indian Rupees converted on
the spot at the time of departure, when the payment is being
made. On-line Currency Conversion facility is provided on
the Home Page of our site. Similarly foreigners and NRI selecting
hotels with published tariff in Indian Rupees, will pay in
equivalent US dollars as per the conversion rate applicable
at the time of making the payment.
Transport Tariff is in Indian Rupees.
Refund of Advance
Every time you make a booking at our site, the confirmation
voucher indicates a "Cancel By Date". In case of change
in travel plans necessitating cancellation of your reservation,
please remember to do so within the specified "Cancel By"
date using the cancellation option/feature provided at our site.
Timely cancellations will ensure full / partial refund of the
Advance amount paid, less cancellation/bank charges, if any,
and out of pocket expenses like postage etc. In case the advance
was paid using a Credit Card, then the Transaction Charges levied
by the Bank E-Payments, the Payment Gateway service providers,
will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Please remember, that www.THEHERITAGEOFINDIA.com and/or the
hotel, reserves the right to retain the advance amount received
against confirmed reservation as Retention Charges, in case
you fail to adhere to the cancellation norms.
Although most hotels have Retention Charge equal to one night’s
room charge, there are hotels that define cancellation and
retention charge norms differently. Therefore please be advised
to read the Hotel Guarantee, Deposit and Cancellation Policies,
before submitting a booking. Also you are advised to separately
read the cancellation norms applicable for car hire.

all relevant information required for facilitating car transfers,
which are all passed on to the car vendor with every booking.
